KU Starting Points Macarthur is an educational support program located in Airds providing early intervention and support to families who have young children (0–6 years) with disabilities or developmental delays in the Macarthur Area. The educational program is one part of a larger program that includes allied health staff who provide services under the NDIS.

The Role
We are looking for an educator with a completed Certificate III in Early Childhood that has demonstrated experience of working with children with disability and additional needs. In this position, you will work closely with our Allied Health professionals to provide the best outcomes for the lives of young Australians. The ability to build strong connections and relationships with the community and families will also be a big part of this position.
The position is working on a permanent basis with the shift times below. This role is perfect for someone looking to work during school hours.
- Monday - 9:00am-2:00pm
- Tuesday 9:00am-2:30pm
- Wednesday 9:00am-2:00pm
- Thursday 9:00am-2:00pm

Candidates will need:
- Australian working rights
- A current NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Certificate III
- Completed training in Child Protection
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
- Experience of working with children with addtional needs
